Spring is just around the corner and miniature daffodils are almost in flower so this is the time of year when we don the wellies and get interested in the garden again. There is lots to do before we open our garden again for the National Garden Scheme on 20th & 21st May 2017. This year we have some special entertainment lined up. There will be an art exhibition by local artist Susan Myers and the Sing Me Merseyside Choir will be entertaining us on Saturday afternoon. There will also be jazz in the garden on Sunday from the very talented group Jazz All That so come along and be entertained while exploring o ur lovely garden.

Open Garden 16th & 17th May 2015
The garden at Inglewood will be opening again over the weekend of 16th & 17th May. We have decided to have a spring opening this year to show off some of the beautiful rhododendrons, azaleas and spring bulbs.
Additional features this year include a large copper sculpture by Sue MeyerhoffSharples and a new hosta border. Singers from Sing Me Merseyside will be singing in the garden on the Saturday and there will be a small art exhibition and plants for sale. An additional feature this year is a tribute to the soldiers killed in World War 1. Three original Paul Cummins ceramic poppies which were displayed at the Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red tribute at the Tower of London will be displayed in the garden. Tea/homemade cakes will be sold in aid of Wirral Hospice St John's.
